The Costarican keeper returned to Zinedine Zidane´s list for the 6th journey of La Liga Santander and to the starting 11 for the Champions League match versus Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday with a great performance but marred by an error which resulted in the Germans´first goal.
After four months away from the pitch due to injury and surgery, Keylor returned to the starting 11 for one of the most complicated games he could come back for. This shows the confidence that the coach has on Keylor. But maybe it wasn´t the best game to make a comeback after spending a few months away.
We expect him to be part of the starting 11 at home this weekend versus Eibar. The Costarican keeper has been called by the national team coach to play the international matches next week. We do not know whether it is advisable to travel and play those games after the months he has been injured, or if he should stay in Madrid. Only time will tell.
