Valencia Mestalla

Valencia Mestalla

Today at Mestalla, at least on paper, Valencia and Atletico will play the match of the day.

Valencia, even tough they have a great team, haven’t really started. Voro, the interim coach has won the last 2 games, and today it will be his last match before Prandelli takes over as coach after been confirmed by Lim in Singapore.

The player from the Valencia CF willl try to play at their best to show to the recently appointed Italian coach that they deserve to be in the starting 11; not an easy task when you’ve got the Cholo’s team in front.

Atletico Madrid had a rough start in the first couple of matches but since they’ve taken off and are flying in La Liga and Champions League, with the Frenchman, Griezmann, at the top of his form.

The odd on Valencia is, no doubt, great at 4.30, but since they are not a trusted team this season so far, it´s probably of value to take the away team at 1.85 (a but short but still alright). I can’t trust the Over/Under Goal Line for this match.

Another interesting market for this match is the Cards one, particularly the Yellow cards one. At this level, at this time of the season where both teams want the 3 points and both have a reputation of been “aggressive” but I believe that an over 6.5 Yellow Cards is unlikely. Id rather take the under 6.5 cards at 1.85.
